Owner and Producer Douglas Widick

Suite Tea Studio was founded by Musician and Audio Producer Douglas Widick, who has over 20 years of experience on Guitar, Bass, and Drums. His production style is influenced by his love of hip hop and jazz, and some of his favorite musicians include Cory Wong, Dimebag Darrel, and Prince. Douglas’s approach to working with clients comes with a deep understanding of the performer side, as a veteran of UCB, the PIT, and Magnet Theatres in NYC. He is a founding member of hip hop improv comedy group, North Coast, which was named one of Timeout NY’s Top 10 Comedy Shows of 2014, and tours internationally.

When he’s not at the studio, you can find Doug catching a wave at Rockaway Beach or walking through Fort Greene Park with his Scottish Terrier, Skylar.

Everything you wanted to know about Leo The Lemon

Leo the Suite Tea Lemon was born in 1991 in Sicily near Mount Etna. The soil he was farmed on was infused with Volcanic passion and ingenuity which informs Leo’s vibrant and joyful personality. Tired of drinking wine and eating pasta everyday, Leo came to the United States on an out-of-service steamboat with nothing more than his headphones and a dream. Upon arriving in New York City, he was plucked from a shopping cart by Suite Tea Founder Douglas Widick to be the face of his music production business, Suite Tea Studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

Now, Leo spends his days drinking poolside, perusing beat websites and saying “that’s dope” quietly to himself as his dog “Affogato” snores at his feet.
